Pro Tour General Conditions
The Pro Tour has a number of general conditions that should be read in conjunction with the Pro Tour Points System to get a full understanding of how participation on the Pro Tour works.
Team Qualification
“AAA” Tournament
For a team to qualify for entry into the “AAA” tournament, the teams Required Team Qualification Value (RTQV) must be 2000 or greater.
General Conditions of Entry
The number of teams at events will be limited to the number of fields and time schedule of the day, which is determined by local Councils.
Players will be required to be in the same uniform for each team. Any player that is not wearing the same uniform as other players will be stopped from taking the field.
Teams must pay a deposit when submitting their team nomination into an event. A final team player list and points value must be submitted before the advertised closing date and all Team fees must be paid in full for any team to be assured a place in any event.
Teams that compete in the final of any division will gain automatic entry into the next level of event. The only condition for automatic entry is that the team to be entered must consist of five (5) of the original players from the team in the automatic qualifying event. In addition the remaining players to make up the team must fulfil the number of points for the Required Team Qualification Value (RTQV) of 2000 points.
Rankings or Seeding’s
Teams will be ranked and seeded for “AA” and “AAA” events based on the total team points at the conclusion of the closing period for team registration. After the closing date, ratification of the points per team will be undertaken and then the rankings will be advertised and a draw produced.
Wildcards
Teams can make submissions based on their points total, to gain wildcards into an event. Wildcard submissions must be put in writing to Beach Touch Football Australia one (1) week before the closing date for team entries of that particular event. Beach Touch Football Australia will allocate positions in the event based on the wildcard submissions with the highest point’s values in order to fulfil the required team numbers for AA or AAA events.
